I have just bougth myself a 1944 Willys. It is a norwegian car with a few mods from the millitary. There is a curtain in front, and a heater mounted underneath the dashboard. Nice and original car.
I am also able to read the name "little willy" that have sometime in the past been written on the panel below the windscreen. It is not a panel restored car, so i would like to belive that the text has been there for some years...
Well, the downside is that I have a rattling sound in the engine. It appeared suddenly, and the sound follows the revs. The oilpressure is good, and so are the power of the engine. I wonder...could it be a loose valve guide?? The engine was running perfectly before this sound appeared. The car has been parked for some time, so i was very careful when i started using it...but obviously not careful enough...
Any ideas out there?
