You know which M38A1 , carrying folding passenger seat?
Was installed in a 1962 M38A1

I think it goes in the M170 ambulance Jeep. There are pictures in the TM of the layout if you have it. John

That tag you show part numbers to a drivers seat for an M38A1. Not a passenger seat. The tag and seat don't appear to go together.

The seat appears to be a custom mod from indication of varying paint tones.
also the weld residual along the frame. Interesting seat frame nonetheless.

Thanks for all your comments!
Wrote "passenger" that is installed in that place ....
The label will be bad?
Correspond to another vehicle?

As old salt said, that part # is for a rigid one piece drivers seat for the M38a1.
Under that part # it should not be a folding seat.
I'm thinking it's an early cj5 folding passenger seat. They looked and mounted like the M38A1 passenger seat and folded.
