In 1952 did the army paint hood numbers using flat, semigloss or gloss white (over 23070 semigloss OD)? Also, was the shade of white what is known as Insignia white?
Thanks!

Hi Tim,
I think the manual says "Lusterless" white. I think it is a satin white (which is almost flat) - I'm sure a more knowledgeable person on this will chime in. I never asked the question, as I am just now getting to the point of marking my Jeep.
