EARLY 1950 M38 FOR SALE-PRICE REDUCED***SOLD***

Post by mtdave »

I'm going to give you guys a reason to come visit Montana. I'm selling my 1950 M38 MC10783, I told you it was early. This unit as far as I'm concerned is a treasure compared to some of the "finds" I've seen listed. Although most of the military equipment has been removed by other POs the body on this unit is fine, and my biggest bragging point is a dash and instrument panel that's almost perfect. All gauges work, all glass is intact and only a couple small holes drilled for some added switches. I've picked away at this project for almost 10 years but finally decided someone interested in restoring military vehicles needs this Jeep. I've recently bought a very clean 1957 CJ5 (same vintage as me) so I don't need two Jeep projects. I'm asking $4500 and can email pictures and more specifics to anyone interested. I have zero computer aptitude (doing this post is pushing my skill level) so posting pictures ain't gonna happen. Send me a PM and I'll have 8 or 10 nerds I know help me send you pictures and additional info. :? PRICE REDUCED TO $3950 I would sure like to move this unit before deep winter sets in. Somebody out there must need a winter time project.

I got to thinking there might be people looking that aren't members here yet so they couldn't get ahold of me. In that case you can call me at 406-248-5096, don't be scared when we answer the phone Big Sky Wildlife, that's our business. Critters don't take days off and neither do we, you can call 7 days a week, but if you call in the middle of the night we'll charge you for a service call.

Summer is half over, someone out there must need a reason to come visit Montana. This is a fine start for a restoration project. I will entertain any reasonable offer.

With spring being here I figured it was time to bring this forward from the back pages. This unit still needs a better home then I can provide. Come on folks someone out there must need a project and a reason to visit Montana. I will entertain any reasonable offers.
