M-38A1 Fuel Filler / Body Question...

Post by OKCM38CDN »

On an M-38A1 what type are the screws/bolts that holds the fuel filler panel in to the body? there are 7 of them...

Reason I am asking is that the M-38A1 I purchased in October have Phillips screws with lock washers attached... I found in the SNL where it says Hex head 1/4-20 bolts... but that entry seemed to be for the M-170... Just trying to see if anyone else has the Phillips...

Working an small parts and pieces , sandblasting and primering...

Thanks in advance...

I have a 1953 M38A1 and I also had a 1954 model and they both have the large #3 Phillips head screws.
