M38A1 wheel cylinders

Post by Kendall »

I'm doing a brake job on my 1952 M38A1 that has 3/4" wheel cylinders on the front and 1" cylinders on the rear. According to the book (TM 9-8014), the 1" should be on the front and the 3/4" on the rear. Is mine from an oversight from a previous owner or is there a reason to change them around? Thanks in advance for your help, Kendall

Sounds like a previous owner oversight.

What book are you using?

The TM-8012 is the book to use for the M38, or look it up in the ORD 9.
