QUESTIONS WITH MY TRAILER M100

Hello friends,

I purchased a trailer which I believe is m100.
I'm still not with him at my house, because I have not tried. This at a friend's house.

But now I want to start the restoration project!!

My doubt is:

This trailer will be attached to my m38.
Then I use the cable that will be the image below.

I already have a black out light switch as the photo below shows.

This cable assembly, with this black out light switch installed in the trailer m100 is the correct mounting?

What is this black out light switch? I own this piece some time ago, I bought NOS.

If this set is incorrect, what should I do?

The Blackout light switch was only used on the WWII trailers... the M-100 did not have one...

The blackout lights were controlled by the light switch in the M-38...

The cable assembly is the correct style for the M100 if the M100 is a late unit. Early unit cables had plugs on both ends and a receptacle for the trailer end of the plug was installed in the right front corner of the frame in the same location used on the WWII trailers for the BO lite switch.

Thanks for the reply you.

When the trailer to arrive at my house, I'll check the numbers and send to WES, oh we know if the model is early or late.

I'll post photos also state that it is.

But anyway, I really appreciate the attention you both.
I'll keep my light switch black out, maybe one day I can use in an upcoming trailer!!!

Some of the manuals are available on line in PDF for the trailer.

There were four manuals published.

Early there were the:
TM 9-871A Service and operation July 1951
ORD 9 SNL G-747 Master Parts FEB 1952
ORD 7&8 SNL G-747 Organizational Parts DEC 1953 & JUL 1956

Later came:
TM 9-2330-201-14 Combined Service & Parts APR 1972 (this one is available on line.)
