Starter motor
I picked up an M38 converted to 12 V it is fitted with a Mitsubishi Electric Co. 12V model MJO starter motor serial No. 08894, this has since died and I cannot find anyone to repair it in Australia. Can anyone advise as to an alternate starter that will fit the 124 tooth ring gear. Thanks in advance

You can use the correct CJ3A starter as a 6 volt unit or have it rewound for 12V. MZ4137 I believe the MZ4162 and the Henry J MZ4163 can also be made to work. All three are originally 6 volt.
