RIVETS - RIVETING TOOLS AND INSTRUCTION

Post by 1derdog »

I've seen the video where those guys made their c clamp riveting tool to install rivets on jeep frames. I have been searching for a tool for this application. is there a source to purchase this tool or a similar tool that will do the 3/8's rivets?

Here is a link to a site I saved for future use. I haven't used any of their produts yet, but their web site has been up for some years now.

Walcks is now selling rivet setting tools for Jeep frames.

Has anyone used these tools from Walck's? I had thought about having a machine shop make me the air chisel/rivet gun insert and then have them machine a dimple into a spare bucking bar.

It would produce the same results but still cheaper than those gorgeous hydraulic units I've seen made.
