rear engine plate
take a look at my rear engine plate. first of all, the new gasket I got does not seem to match up to the holes very well. secondly, when I try to mount it, it seems like the attached metal strip is not allowing the plate to line up with the holes on the engine. Any ideas?

Your new gasket has shrunk.
Try leaving the angle loose when installing the adapter plate.
The gasket is only needed if you intend to ford the jeep!
