M38A1 for sale centrol Mississippi

Postby Bryan Burt » Sat Oct 31, 2009 7:32 am
I will trade for a WWII willys MB or Gpw or parts. I did't really want to sell the jeep, but i got too many projects going on. It is a 1950s Military M38A1 Jeep. It would be the Korean war-Veitnam era. It runs and drives fine, and 4 wheel drive works. The engine has no smoke and idles perfect with lots of power. It still has the all original 24 volt system and works fine. The underwater style distributor, regulator, starter, generater all works. It has 2 new batterys. The body is solid, with some rust areas that need attention. The transmission floor covers are missing except for the one directly over the transmission. It needs a new water pump, transmission covers, glass for windshield, gas tank(i am using a lawnmower gas tank for now to drive around), passenger seat frame, 1 head light, Brakes, and rear bumper parts. Those are the main things it needs. The tool box under the passenger seat is in perfect shape and is solid. Someone also broke all the bolts that held on the body part that goes along the gas tank neck and then welded it up. I guess to make it look more like a cj5 or something.
I have a bunch more pictures and even before pictures where it was found.
Thanks,
Bryan
I will not ship I would rather a pick up on location.
