Does anyone have or know where to get a jeep data plate for 106 mm recoilles rifle?

Jim,
Try John at Midwest Military. John has a website that is easy to find in the web links section.
If he doesn't have one, I bet he know who to send you to. _________________ Ryan Miller

Ryan: Thanks for the 106 info.
Also- I guess I am confused about the new site...
Why did I get a notification of your answer by e-mail instead of it coming directly to me as in the past... or is that the way the new site works if someone replies to my message.

Jim,
I just looked at your new photos on your gallery. Those are very interesting! Post some more if you have them!
On the new website, you will get an email with a link that you click on which should take you directly to the posting.
If you do not like that, there should be another link on that email to click on where you can change your user settings.
Did you find a data plate yet? _________________ Ryan Miller

Ryan
thanks for your info reply.
I received an e-mail from a jeep owner in Italy asking me for help in finding a data plate for his w38a1-c jeep. That is why I was asking for that info.
I e-mailed him Midwest mil's url. His english/words was poor but I got the drift of it.
Regarding my photos, I have always been a camera nut and was smart enough to use one in Japan & Korea while I was stationed there in 1953.
If you ever come to my neck of the woods I'll be glad to show you my 2 slide trays of my army days there. Just too many to post. But great for my grandkids if they ever get interested some day... _________________ JIM |

Jim,
Do you have any photos of M38's?
Those are great photos of M38A1's! _________________ Ryan Miller

While I was over seas, never saw an M38. All we had on the front line in Korea was WWII vehicles. We started to get M38a1, M37, as the war ended.
I plan to put a short story in the Article Section of the mjeep site about an M38 in June '06 . . . more then. _________________ JIM |
