I am assuming you want senders with Douglas connectors
I have a 120 psi Oil Pressure sender and a Temperature sender with Douglas connectors on them. I will need to test them to be sure they are in working order.
Will let you know later this weekend... _________________ Hal, KB1ZQ

I have performed the following tests and I feel these are working sensors:
Temp Sensor - I took a heat gun and applied heat to the sensor and using an Ohm Meter the resistance in the sensor changed as the temp went up and then down,
Oil Pressure sensor - connected to a compressed air source and applied 120 lbs pressure and the resistance changed then returned to normal.
The senders are with Douglas connectors...
I have sent you a PM on what I am asking for the set. _________________ Hal, KB1ZQ

when I received the jeep, it had mechanical temp and oil gage in the panel. but I have extra correct gages with douglas connectors to replace the gages that came with it. still working on the tub so I have alittle while to come up with the correct temp/oil sending units. if not then I will put mechanical gages back in the panel until the sending units are found at a decent price. thxs _________________ 1953 m38a1 1953 m100 |
