Hi could someone take some pics of how the back seat brackets go on. I did find the screw holes under the bondo but I'm just not sure because the brackets I bought don't seem to line up. 1952 M38A1 BTW. Thanks. |

Bob Collins should have some photos from his M38A1 restoration.
I looked on his photo gallery, but did not see anything.
I'll send him a message. _________________ Ryan Miller

Hi,
I will try to get you some photos tommorrow. I looked and dont have any good ones that show that area.
Which brackets are you exactly talking about? The ones ont he back panel that hold the seat upright or the spring steel ones / plates with the U cut on them to hold the seat in place? Or heck, do you need everything? _________________ Bob Collins

AHHHH... That's where that one on goes...Perfect! Thank you guy so much! Fantastic. Now if I line up the holes for my square one it doesn't rest or touch the bottom of the tub. Is that going to be a problem? It's about 1/8in about it. If I use the holes that are already there.
loopbackzero please feel free to still add yours as well. |

If you're talking about the one in the 3rd photo it must sit on the floor to support the weight of the seat. It is spot welded on so I would ignore the holes and spot weld it where it belongs. If you have holes in both the wheel house and the bracket then both had the spot welds drilled out and spot welds do not hit the same spot in every jeep. _________________ Wes K
