I was going to attempt to use the top two leafs from a 3a spring and the rest of the pack on the bottom (my top two leafs are the ones that are damaged--rest is ok) but Im now told the 3a has a bigger eyelet hole on the pivot end?? |

The WWII MB and some WWII 1/4 ton trailers shared springs but not the M38. The M101 uses 7 leaf springs and one end has the eye wrapped downwards. The pivot bolt on the M38 is 9/16 and the CJ's are 5/8". The M100 & M416 trailers use a 10 leaf spring with a 36 1/4 length and a 9/16" pivot bolt. _________________ Wes K
