The repro muffler I put on my M38A1 sounds like tractor, is there any other correct muffler out there that sounds good? I have an original but it has a baffle broken loose and it rattles bad.

My M38 has now the same 'sound' as an MB jeep, i think this is the normal sound.

Before i installed the exhaust, i used a 'bubba' made one with recycled moderncar parts. The jeep was making no sound, she sounds like a modern car wich was not normally for the fifties, when the jeep was build.

I compared the sound with other jeeps in the club, and i think it is OK now.
In the USA I think Jhon at Midwest has(always) the good parts, i found exact the same muffler here in Belgium. Because a complete exhaust was to big ( and lot of shipping costs) to send from USA to Belgium ( Europ).
