I have technical manuals; TM9-8012; TM9-1805A; TM9-1804B; and TM9-1826. What is the manual that I need for wiring diagrams? Also, my speedometer does not zero. It moves up when I spin the drive unit. Is there any repair possible on it?

Thanks

TM 9-8012 has the wiring diagrams that apply to the late M38 and some early data and the TM 9-804 has the diagrams that apply to the early M38. Some early vs late differences were the seperate trailer light harness with a two plug main light switch early, the gages with esternal resistors early, the firewall mounted ignition noise filter early, the circuit breaker wiring early.

I assume your 1805A ia actually a typo for the 1804A.

There are two more manuals for the electrical components repair, adjustment and overhaul.

For Auto-Lite components TM 9-1825 B dated 1952.

For Delco components TM 9-8627 Dated 1953.
