Does any one know where I could look for a cowl? I would prefer a take off if available. I might just patch the few holes I have but the metal is pitted very badly from a bad bondo job.

Are you looking for the top panel between the dash and firewall, that the battery box mounts in?

I found one on eBay and got very lucky I did...

I have a dash panel from a M-38CDN in good shape available...

John Bizal carrys a repro cowl battery box, the rest is jus sheet metal. If you were very careful you could just replace the sheet... Or find someone with a tub that could be used as a donor...

Good Luck...

I have a dash from my M-38 CDN that was replaced with a takeoff. My cowl was chopped by a PO and the cowl battery box was gone. So I had to replace the entire cowl and was easier to replace the dash as part of the assembley than taking it apart...

PM me, or use the email link under my signature to talk about price... Photos available...

There is a gent over on the "G503" site with a tub, that he want to sell... Maybe you could talk to him and wok something out... Just passing it on...

He says no shipping, pick up only. I do not know where you are but if the cowl is in good shape with the battery box easy enough to change out... That is what I had to do to mine...

Hope this helps...

Yes I am looking for the top part between the Dash and the firewall. My battery box was filled in also.
