This is my first post since joining this terrific site last summer. So much great info. here!
I'd like to reproduce all wiring harnesses during my M38 resto. I've located all the components but I can't seem to find aluminum wire "T" tags. Anyone have a source for these?
Thanks! _________________ Tripp Cantwell

I made wire harnesses for my M38 and M38A1 and got the metal tags from Jeff Smith at Military Vehicle Parts in FL, but that was years ago. I don't know if he is still in business.

Thanks, Kendall. The Pensacola Chamber of Commerce lists the business "Military Vehicle Parts Company" and Jeff Smith as a contact but the website link "mvpc.com" appears to be dead. The hunt continues.... |

In June 2012 I bought 144 "wire Marker Bands" from Saturn Surplus for $9.00. They are identical to the oem ones on my 1952 & 1953 M38-A1's. _________________ David Manning

Hey Charliebrowndog (or can we call you Snoopy for short?), Do you have the measurements for the different wires? I have them for when I made my harnesses if you need them.

Hope you can figure these out. This wiring info is for the main body and the headlight harnesses only and not the taillight/trailer receptacle.

Thanks for the tip on KeyesDavis Wes. I'll reach out and get a sample to compare to the one (1) tag remaining I can find on my rats nest harness.
Kendall the wire length diagrams will be a huge time saver indeed. Appreciate it!
I do have photos of my project but they are in Dropbox. I'll make the link available if anyone would like...
