My eyes are spinning from reading/re-reading the maintenance manual ... please let me know what viscosity of Hypoid oil is required.

This is a sympathetic restoration stock Dana 25/44.

Now a days the old straight or single weight gear oils are harder to find on the shelf so you can also use a more modern multi-weight
