You can force swap anything. The mother of necessity will prove that.

M38 Front
Semielliptic length 36 1/4", width 1 3/4" number of leaves 10, camber 3/8"
MB rear
Mather parabolic length 42" width 1 3/4" number of leaves 9 camber 3/4"
M38 Rear
semieliptic length 42" width 1 3/4" number of leaves 11 camber 5/8"
The M38 bushing and bolt are bigger. You will have a load carrying deficiency with the MB springs under the M38. _________________ Wes K
