Good morning...need some help. I have these two Carbs...almost the same but one looks like it may be a Carter 950 with a 637 base? Not sure, I have checked this site for posts and that leads me to more questions. Thanks for the help.

looks like I have one of each. Also looks like my uncle installed the M 38 A1 on the M 38 jeep… It was running with it. The old one he had in a box of parts is the correct one I believe which is the Carter YS 637. I rebuilt that one and cleaned it up… Should I be using that one instead of the M 38 A1? Thanks! |

The Jeep is a 51' M38. I think he put the Carter YS950 on top of a 637 base. Question answered on using the 950 on my M38...no go. thanks. |
