Georgia, September 16 & 17, 2005: GAMVPA Southeastern Fall Rally and Swap Meet at Kennesaw, GA at the National Guard Armory. The Armory is located at 1901 McCollum Parkway (Chastain Rd. at McCollum Pkwy.) 2.3 miles south of Exit 271 off I-75 from Atlanta. Alabama, October 14 – 16, 2005: 6th Semiannual MVPA Rally at the Just Loafin’ RV Park in Samson, AL, 7557 Highway 153 (1 ½ miles from the Florida line into Alabama). Hosted by Lamar and Jewell Rowland. Free camping, spaghetti dinner, MV flea market, trail ride, ladies crafts and yard sale. Full RV hookups and dumping station. Donations appreciated. Mississippi, October 21 – 22, 2005: The Mississippi Coast Watchers 1st Annual Military Vehicle Swap Meet, in conjunction with a Military Collectors Show. The swap meet welcomes vendors, vehicle displays, living history displays and re-enactors. Awards for vehicle judging will be given. D’Iberville, MS at the Keesler exit off of I-10, Biloxi, MS. The swap meet will be in the Farmers’ Market Building and adjacent grounds. The Military Collectors show will be inside the Civic Center. Vendor spaces are $10.00 each (tables are extra). Alabama, November 11, 2005: Nation’s oldest and largest Veteran’s Day parade, downtown Birmingham, Alabama. Dixie Division Military Vehicles Club has a number of spaces reserved for member vehicles. Parade starts at 1:30 pm at 8th Avenue and 19th Street. Vehicles should be in place by 11:00 am.

Alabama, December 2 & 3, 2005: 2nd Annual Military Vehicle Show and Swap meet at the Highway 59 Flea Market, 804 Gulf Shores Pkwy (Hwy 59), Summerdale, AL. 30 acres of fun, food and fantastic finds. No charge for vehicle displays or flea market spaces, but bring your own table. Free admission to the museum for those arriving in military vehicles or in period dress.
