I need some dimensions for the riveted frame part that the return spring from the brake pedal attaches to (height/shape/size of hole/etc...)

I welded a piece on but need to shape it to the correct dimensions.

Please refer to picture in my photo album (3rd from last album on page 2)

Thanks, Peter (Ottawa)

P.S. Can someone tell me how to insert a picture in this message????

I'll explain as if you aren't aware of some things.

The photo must be captured from a url address, usually a photo gallery. If you have a gallery setup on this site, you can obtain it from there. Many people use a free photo gallery to store pictures on-line so others can see them. There are different sites out there.
To insert a picture, right click on the picture, select properties, high light the URL, place the curser on the high lighted text, right click again, select copy.
Come this site in the window you are posting a subject.
You must space down a few times before you do the next step.
That is, hit enter three or four times.
Look up at the top of this box and see the items to pick from. Pick on Img*
[img] will be dispalyed, place your curser after [img] then right click and paste the url you just copied. Now with the curser at the end of the url, pick on Img* one more time.
Summit the post and check it out. If you have a problem then I must have left a step out.
Right click on this photo, select properties and see the url address associated with it.
