Hi, fellows!

I´m trying to know if these CJ5 parts could be disguised as M38A1: both mudguards, hood, grill and windscreen. A friend of mine has recently bought a MD Juan replytub of Willys M38A1 model and he needs the frontal section, and it seems that the only available parts that he could get are CJ5 (also MD Juan made).

Many thanks for your kindful help!!! Wink

He's not looking hard enough. The windshields and grills are often listed for sale on these sites and ebay. The fenders are the hard things to find. The M38A1 uses a reinforced fender with extra supports. An enterprising restorer can make the early CJ5's work. The later fenders with the indent for marker lights won't work well. The grill is very unique to the M38A1. Especially the recessed head light mounting. The windshield can be crafted from an early CJ5 two piece unit.
