Hello-looking for a stock m38 front passenger leaf spring. Im going to have all mine rearched but that one spring is damaged on the top two leafs. I have 3a springs but want them all to be the same/correct.
Price and pictures would be great.
In michigan or willing to ship here. Thanks

Kinda! If you want the original factory springs all around then your only hope is that rare NOS original factory spring not the NOS military surplus spares spring or a modern repop.

I was going to attempt to use the top two leafs from a 3a spring and the rest of the pack on the bottom (my top two leafs are the ones that are damaged--rest is ok) but Im now told the 3a has a bigger eyelet hole on the pivot end??

Someone also suggested that a M101 spring is the same??

The WWII MB and some WWII 1/4 ton trailers shared springs but not the M38. The M101 uses 7 leaf springs and one end has the eye wrapped downwards. The pivot bolt on the M38 is 9/16 and the CJ's are 5/8". The M100 & M416 trailers use a 10 leaf spring with a 36 1/4 length and a 9/16" pivot bolt.
