12V to 110v inverter
I need some help re the above as the better half has decided to put a xmas tree in the back of the M38 for the Santa Claus parade.(don't laugh). Can I hook the clips from the inverter to the primary battery & be O.K. in obtaining 12v for the inverter to run 110v LED lights? Or will I fry the inverter? Sorry, not a real tech question, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks[/list]

If the device calls for a 12 volt input then connect it's 12 volt plus lead to the positive post of the underhood battery and it's negative lead to a nearby ground. This will give you 12 volts.
