top part numbers

bought a 51 m38 with top definitly not for it, two side curtains and 2 doors that might be, need part numbers to reference so I can see what I need to purchase.

top: 674173, 7697412 curtains, doors, rods and bows are separate part numbers.

Go to the downloads section of this website and you can get the reference manuals downloadable for free. All the part numbers for every part on the M38.

The easy manual to locate are for the WWII MB/GPW. You'll need to get a copy of the M38 parts list ORD 9 SNL G-740 either NOV 1951 or Sept. 1955 issues. http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules. ... oad&cid=39

What makes you thing the doors and side curtains are correct and the top itself is not?

The top is a canvas half top that has a back window that rolls up. The side curtains and doors seem to be the proper size, but could be for MD. The guy I bought it from thought the jeep was a 2A and had never tried to put these on. It was barn kept for plowing only. Thanks Ryan for the info. Marshall

The MD side curtains will fit the m38 but the MD doors will not. If you're gonna toss that halftop. I'll take it. It's probably for the 2A or 3A.
