Speedometers

I don't recall ever seeing one those radar traffic monitors around here. Guess I could flag a cop down someday and ask if he would check my speed.

Also speedo SW 501C seems to be OK. Mine is marked both SW 501C and MS39021-2. It shows a little to much because I have 6.50-16 tires on my M38.

Regarding comparing speedo reading to another vehicle, I believe it's a international demand that speedos can't show to little. So to be on the safe side, car manufacturers deliberatly calibrates their speedos to show a little more than actual speed. A much more accurate way to check a speedo still in the car is compairing it to a GPS unit. Using my cellphone with built in GPS I have found that most car speedos shows 1-5 mph to much.

I think if you get her up to what shows 45 but is 50 be thankful. lol If I show 45 on mine everything seems to be protesting so much I back off to 40
