Wheel identification

Post by Ryan_Miller »

One of our members, Zoli, asked me to post a photo of his wheel and to ask if anyone had any information on this type of rim.

It is a solid rim.

Most likely a WWII G503 wheel. Many of those were solid.

Wes,

I was thinking that too, but I am no expert on WWII rims.

Maybe Zoli can post the dimensions here.

I asked the question on the G503 forum and Pat Newman posted a photo of his , stating he didn't think they looked alike.

Thank you Ryan for posting the picture here and Wes on the G503. Replied there also. Pat Newman is right, it looks different compared to the one on his picture. I know I should replace it, maybe I will some time in the future, but my Jeep is not even road licenced and gov't inspected yet, I drive it with dealer or "test" licence plate, plus altough it is in running condition, but I am always trying to make it run better and working on it almost always and this cost some money too, so the wheels have to wait.
