I am replacing the tank in my A1. What is a good substitute for the pieces of padding that go under the tank? Better yet does anyone sell the original? While I am on the subject of the tank, is a Fram CG20 the proper fuel filter? That is what the number looks like it says but it is very faint. This particular filter doesn't fit the pickup tube very tightly
Thanks,
Barry

Midwest Military and AJP both have the correct in the tank fuel filters for the A1.
There are several vendors selling the tank anti-squeak strip sets. Any commercial sourced 1/16 to 1/8" thick by 1" wide fuel resistant rubber strip can be used. The individual part numbers and the lengths are in your ORD 9 parts list.
