M38A1 Carter YS Carburetor
Does anyone know where the best place to get a rebuild kit for a M38A1 Carter YS Carburetor would be? I have been looking around a lot and can only find rebuild kits for about $50. I really was hoping to find something cheaper.

The $55 dollar kit from Midwest Military or Army Jeep Parts is your best and safest buy. Anything cheaper is junk or NOS with old rubber parts. There will be lots of places to skimp a little and save a little but places like the carb, steering, brakes, oil system and cooling system aren't one of them. We have the overhaul instructions loaded on the download pages.
