M170 Shocks

Post by rdsar2k »

I bought some shocks from AJP for my M170 and after discussing these with AJP it was felt that the shocks he had for the M38A1 should work for the M170. The suspension on my jeep is stock and after putting the drive train in the chassis the front shocks are still too short to reach. By reading the maintenance manual the M170 calls for a longer shock extended length than the M38A1 by 2" which matches the situation I have.
Now I need shocks! Sounds as though he will credit me back for the ones I have.
Anyone have a set of M170 shocks just laying around?
