M38 Hood Number Prefix

Post by sonny »

I have a 6/52 M38, serial no. 69046. Hood numbers are not present. Would like to use the serial no. with the correct 3 digit number prefix for U.S. Army. I have read that it could be 209, 208, and 238. Does anyone know for sure what would be correct for my date/serial no.? thanks, Sonny
