I would like to thank Bubba of the Neb. Forest service for believing that the wires coming out of the end of the horn switch could be pulled out just like all the other Douglas connectors. And then once you yanked it out and figured out you broke it for trying to repair it with a lighter by melting the plastic part that holds the contact points back into place.
If only you knew that you could have just unscrewed the horn switch you would have saved me some money.
Err…I just placed a large order with Midwest and told em I didn’t need a horn switch. I went to remove it from my old ross box and under the rubber boot I find this bubbatastic repair that did not work.
Looks like it will just have to include one in my next order...
