Deformed the bearing seal on my bellcrank rebuild kit...

Well crud...

Got all the stuff i needed to rebuild the steering system on my jeep and I was installing the internals on my new bell crank.

I installed one bearing seal just fine...the other was a different story...I was pressing it in and it twisted up on one side.

Now there is no way its ever going back on...it is way to deformed.

If my part supplier cant send me a replacement seal I might be stuck buying another bell crank repair kit just for the seals.

It also throws a wrench in my time line to have the steering finished this weekend before school starts again.

Funny how a $1.00 part can bring every thing to a screeching halt....

Take your seal to a local bearing house and have them match it up. You shouldn't have to buy a whole kit
