Does anyone make a repo of this style vin tag. for a 1952 m38. (found this picture from a posting by "wesk".) Seen pictures of the repo, but the color is not right. It does not have the black background like the original.
Sorry could not get "wesk" picture on here...

The VIN tag thing is a late model thing. These old girls just have serial number plates on the dash and patent plates on the right rear wheel house.

Thanks so much for the response and posting those pictures. I've seen the early tags offered at KaiserWillys Auto.
Does any one reproduce the later tags?
I just bought my jeep a couple of months ago. I'm green when it comes to military jeeps, but I'm learning. I've joined MVPA. I bought all lot of books and the Army Tech Manual, and I'm eagerly waiting for Ryan Miller's book to come in.
