Folding a summer top for storage
How can I fold my summer top so the back window is not damaged and still fit on the wheel well sill?

That is just about impossible. The window is wider then the rear wheelhouse so it will always have to have a fold in it. Any folds or rubbing layers will damage the clear vinyl. The best way to store it is hanging up on a support tree or top frame. If you must fold it set protective cloth layers between the vinyl and the canvas.

Only if you protect the vinyl from rubbing itself with a very soft cloth. The danger here is that sooner or later it will get crushed flat along with the rest of the top. If I had to store it for a very short period on the road I would fold it flat and square enough that the window is not creased and store it under the rear seat.Still laying a soft cloth between the vinyl and the canvas.
