Will this generator work on a m38 ?

Post by brimac »

This came with my jeep in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket.
A quick look and it seems that the bottom mounts are spaced
too wide.

Just put the rubber bushing in the front plate and

Now I know why the 12 volt conversion stopped and the jeep
sat for 25years. Maybe I can make a spacer, I dont want to put on
a new front plate.

Yes the generator will fit.

You could weld a steel bushing to replace the forward 1/4" of bushing you are missing.
