F head T stat gaskets

Post by RichJohnson »

I have recently discovered that the Thermostat Gaskets for Jeep F-134 engines dont exsist any more... or no one seems to be able to find them.
I have always got them at Napa, but now my old car guy there cant even find them in the system or from Felpro. All other local shops are also scratching their heads. Im surprised, beucase I know of several F head jeeps within my couple mile radius.
All the shops pretty much say use paper and cut your own.
Any body know more about this?

I havent called Midwest or any out of towner shops, yet, but come on, this seems like a normal gasket.

If indeed no body makes them any more I may look into having a ton of them laser cut.

Yeah, Napa kept coming up with a pice of paper you cut yourself.
I guess I will order a few from Walcks and keep them on hand.
