Winter Project Complete

Post by sonny »

The winter restoration of my 1952 M38 is now complete except for installing the top - just wanted to share it with you guys. Of course, this forum has been invaluable for getting everything right. Thanks to all who gave me good advice - Sonny

I'm with Weasel! Someday... just got Ryan's Book and it prodded me into pulling the frame out of the garage and dropping off to be blasted. Sonny - it looks fantastic! Enjoy.

Sonny:

It looks great. Since you are retired, you should bring it down to Richard's Coffee Shop one Thursday around noon. (But not tomorrow, since I will not be there.)

Dave - I have been meaning to get up there on a Thursday but with this restoration going on I haven't taken the time. I am working on my M100 now but may still take a break one Thursday and get up there

Very nice job on your restoration! You did a real bang up job. I just joined the CMVPA (CAROLINA MILITARY VEHICLE PRESERVATION ASSOC) here in North Carolina I hope to meet you in person in the near future as I am also restoring a M38.

Hi Mike - thanks for the kind words - I am also a CMVPA member and A Company XO. We are having a joint event with CMVPA and the Price of Freedom Museum for D-Day on June 4 and 5. There are members from CMVPA coming from all over the state. Hope you can make it. There will be more info posted here and on the web sites very soon - now, back to work on the M100 - Sonny
