what's your best fix?

Post by toolmanm203 »

ok so after reading paynzer's thread on m38 ligth switch help I started thinking of all the ways wes has helped me with info for my jeep and how much I have learned after three years and started thinking of what I did in the begining, I was so anxious to get her running after a year of owning her that being a sunday afternoon and being ready to take her out for the first time I ended up installing a less than proper ignition switch just so I could take her down the road (toro lawn mower) and no I did no alterations to the jeep as that is not in me. but I was wondering what some of you guys have done in your egarness to get behind the wheel? I figured we all have a few of these stories to share for a laugh. and just in case you were wondering yes I have bought a nos switch and will replace it when I do the tub off on her but for now it kinda makes me smile when I turn the key as everyone thinks the jeep is great and cool but if they only knew? russ
