52 M38 Wiring question

Hey folks, I am in the process of re-wiring a 52 M38. I know that these were originally wired for the most part with 14ga wire. I have a new m series main light switch harness that is wired with 16ga wire. Will there be any problems using the 16ga wire??? Many thanks, paynzer.

Shouldn't be a problem with the individual runs to each light but the power lead #15 from the circuit breaker to the main light switch should be 14.
