M38 vs cj fuel tank

M38 vs cj fuel tank
Can a CJ under seat fuel tank fit in an M38? Not going for originality, just funtionality.

Yes the tub can be made to accept the CJ-3A/CJ3B tank. I believe the issues are the floor openings, the strap down system and the size of the opening around the small filler tube.
