Frame seat backs

Post by Bretto »

PO cut the uprights or backs of the seats off the driver and pass and added CJ5 seats to the bottom half of the original frames. Now when the time comes to tackle this part of the project, I forsee it being too expensive to aquire original seat frames and I dont like the cost of new ones. My question is are the back frames of a M38 the same as a 2a, 3a, 3b where I could graft then onto the M38 frames? Its got to be easier to locate something from one of those models.

The 2A seat back is angled differently. You should have no problem adapting the backs from the 3A and 3B.
