I saw somewhere that there is a difference between the cj3a and m38 windshield frames; square vs. round on part of the frame??? Can someone refresh me on the difference?
The reason I ask is I happened across a windshield frame in a pile with 2 very straight m38 hoods...........almost too straight. Are there any telltale markers for reproduction m38 hoods??
Thanks as always the help.........

Windshield differences are in the add ons. The lower skin center vent is bolted shut on the M38 and hinged to open on the CJ3A. The CJ3A does not have the two brackets for the gun scabbard mount. Either windshield can be easily converted to the other.
