Mil-spec canvas typically came in various shades. To be perfectly correct, MVs in service never ended up with matching canvas at all. Tops may have been sourced from one supplier, LH doors from another, RH doors from another etc etc. It was also usual in service for mix and match as many times full enclosure kits were left in stores until required and then when issued I rather doubt they cared whether this or that matched...
