connector plug on wiring harness

Post by RHarris »

Hello. I have pieces of a 1953 Willys M38A1. While running down the wiring harness, which is loose from body, I have an L shaped brackett and a electric connector plug and I cannot find where it tied down on the body with two screws or two small bolts, I don't know which. I also did not locate it in the field manual. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Robert

sounds like you have a radio outlet that would attach beside the passenger seat

I believe the radio power receptacle is welded to the tub at the passenger's right thigh. At least I am sure of that on the M38 Can you post a photo of what you have?

Im not sure exactly how it is attached on the A1 havent seen one on an A1 in a long time, I cant think of any other A1 electrical outlet that attaches with an "L" bracket besides the radio receptacle though, A picture would help tremendously.
