The rear left foot on the passenger seat on my '53 M38A1 doesn't touch the floor and therefore it rests on the wheel well next to the patent plate.
My question is what parts of the tub should the seat rest on and are there any adjustments that can be made. I can weld if that is what needs to be done.
Thanks.

Usually they get twisted and require straightening for them to set right. The right side is supported by a short piece of horizontal channel on the front end of the wheel house near the Patent plate. The left side of the seat is supported by the short leg.

Thanks Wes.
I ended up making something custom. I made a bracket that uses the existing brace behind the passenger seat as a rest. On the other leg of the seat I made an adjustable foot.
