M38 headlights

Post by evanso1975 »

Hello All,

The headlight units on my M38 had a rubber grommet to take the three wires going into the headlights (I believe the fender-mounted blackout light should have one too). Looks like it's item H on page 114 of the ORD 9.

Do they have a particular name, and are they still available. If so, where can I buy them from?

Thanks in advance,
Owen.

Yes indeed, Owen-item M pg 114 in the ORD9.
Now go to pg 159, ref 6-14, 15.
GROMMET, split, 3-hole, ru, 0.937 diam, mounting groove 17/32 wide, (headlight (2); blackout headlight (1))
I love this book (ORD9) and am still learning how to use it to my advantage..
